Super Girl!

Hannah has really grown up a lot in the last few months. She will be 7 next month, but it is like she all of a sudden went for a more childish 6 to a grown up 6. Does that make sense? She is learning so much in school and excelling in every part of it. She loves reading and going to the librbay. Last week she picked out a chapter book called The Diary of a Whimpy Kid and it had 212 pages and she read it all out loud in 3 days. She is learning so many new words in her readings as she uses them in her everyday conversations so she sounds so grown up. Her school is great! They really encourage the kids to ask questions. They are given opportunities to teach eachother on a daily basis. As a first grader she has already researched, prepared and presented four "Expert Projects" She has to come up with facts, about her topic, prepare a presentation with written and artistic content, and then stand up in front of her whole class (21 other children, teachers and visitors) and give her presentation. I don't remember doing that when i was in the first grade.
I am so proud of her and I just wanted to share my happiness with all of you!!! She is my SUPER GIRL!!!
