Avery had her annual kidney test on the 16th. She did quite well considering the fact that they strap her down, insert a catheter, and fill her bladder up with a fluid that can be seen on x-ray...then while her bladder is so full it hurts, they wait till she "voids"... (a.k.a goes to the bathroom) and takes lots of pictures of her insides while she does so. The test revealed that the condition she has (Kidney Reflux) is now on both sides. When she was diagnosed 2 years ago it was only on the left kidney and now it is on the right side too. That was not what we wanted to hear of course, but we are just blessed that she is healthy and her condition hasen't affected her negatively at all.
