Hannah's class had a "button day." They used buttons to learn about textures, shapes, patterns, counting etc. So, her teacher asked the kids to wear something that had a lot of buttons. I thought it would be fun to make a button necklace and bracelet since Hannah is ALL about wearing "jewels" (jewelry) Hannah spent quite a while lacing the elastic string through the brightly colored buttons. Avery wanted to make a necklace too! The next morning, Hannah wore her "jewels" with pride...and so did Avery.

I can't believe how old Hannah looks in the second picture! I bet that was a lot of fun doing the buttons together and participating in a school activity so she could show it off. Hannah and Avery have a great Mommy!
