I am a little behind on updating my blog. Hannah turned 6 in April and I am just getting around to posting the pictures. She had the cutest party. We chose a "little chef" theme and i had the best time coming up with games and craft ideas to make the party fun. I used recipe cards for the invitations which came out so cute. After arriving at our house the girls made chef hats and decorated chef aprons with fabric markers.
We played a few games like marshmellow relay, kitchen utensil scavenger hunt and hangman and then the girls were ready to be "little chefs" We got out all the ingredients for the pizzas and let the girls create their own. Afer lunch and a few more "chef" games they decorated their own 6 inch cake. I had only one 6 inch pan so I spent the whole evening the night before the party making 13 little 6 inch cakes. They came out so yummy and moist and the girls LOVED decorating them. this is Hannah's finished product.
All in all we had a great time. I can't believe that my little girl is 6!
Avery had a great time eating the cupcakes and frosting.

What a super cute party theme! I love the idea of making pizza's and cakes! I just might steal it someday! :)
