Mothers Day weekend was extra special this year. My mom came into town to spend the weekend with us and we attened a program called Time Out For Women. It is put on by my church and it is AWESOME!! The theme was "Sweet Assurance, the certainty that comes when you know life's truths" In Hebrews 10:22 it says "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith..." It was so nice to hear about other women and their testimonies and struggles. Although circumstances in life can change rather quickly, some things remain true and constant and this weekend reminded me of those things.
There were amazing speakers and wonderful music. It was so nice to be there with my mom. One of the musicians is a man by the name of Kenneth Cope. I have been listening to his music for years so it was great to finally see him in person. I got to chat with him for a few min and get a picture with him. He is pretty cute, don't you think?
If you ever get a chance to go to a Time Out For Women, i say GO. You will love it!
