First day of School!

Well, summer is over and all the school shopping is done. Hannah is starting 2nd grade! I can't believe that i have a 2nd grader!!!!! She is very excited to see all her friends and meet her new teacher. Her school, The Center for Inquiry is very unique and AWESOME!! They have the same teacher for 2 years. So, she had the same teacher for kindergarten and 1st grade and now she will have the same for 2nd, and 3rd, then a new one for 4th and 5th. The other cool thing is that they stay with the same kids all the way though the end of 5th grade. So her classmates are the same kids she started school with in kindergarten. I love that concept because it helps with the transition into a new grade and classroom. Her new teacher is Mr. O'Keefe. He is one of the founders of this school and is an amazing teacher. I know that Hannah is going to have a great year!!!
